Alone

trapped in a cage
she no longer wants
to be so alone
with her troubling thoughts

she sees all the others
they laugh and they hug
but she sits by herself
with no one to love

and nobody wants her
and nobody sees
just how lonely this girl is
and how loved she wants to be

unwanted and broken
beaten and bruised
this poor lonely soul
has been so abused

she wants to escape
but it's harder then it seems
she wants someone out there
to hear all her screams

but nobody cares
about that poor girl
alone in this place
alone in the world
